  • Pudsey Primrose Hill Primary School Receives 'Outstanding' Ofsted Judgement

Thu 23 Nov 2023 Joe Wilson

We are thrilled to share the result of Pudsey Primrose Hill Primary School’s Ofsted inspection. Pudsey Primrose Hill received an inspection on the 10th and 11th October 2023 and we are delighted to confirm that the school received an ‘Outstanding’ in all areas of judgement. Mrs Dickson and the whole staff team at Pudsey Primrose Hill have worked so hard to implement a broad and ambitious curriculum and support teachers to be experts in their subjects, to make the school a welcoming and positive environment, and to set high expectations of pupils' behaviour and attainment; and we are so pleased to see this reflected in the inspector's comments. As a co-founder school of the Owlcotes Multi-Academy Trust in March 2018, we are also pleased to see the Trust’s package of school improvement and staff development support being commended in the inspection report.

Mrs Kathryn Dickson, Headteacher at Pudsey Primrose Hill Primary School, said:

"Pudsey Primrose Hill Primary School is delighted with the judgement received following the Ofsted inspection in October 2023. I would like to thank our staff for their hard work and dedication which has created a positive environment for teaching and learning, with high aspirations for our pupils. It is fantastic to see that the ambitious curriculum that we offer to pupils at Pudsey Primrose Hill has been recognised by the inspectors and I’m so happy that the positive behaviour and relationships between our pupils is also recognised the report. We are grateful to our parents and carers for their continued support to school life at Pudsey Primrose Hill and the wider community, their contribution has been a key factor in making Primrose Hill a positive and ambitious school. We are also so proud of our children who are always a credit to their families and to the school with their fantastic behaviour and attitudes. The school has also benefitted from the support of the Owlcotes Multi-Academy Trust through working collaboratively with a professional network of brilliant school staff to share best practice and create an enriched curriculum."
